March 2018 Show 'n Share


A member finished her swirl smocking piece, and used it in this lovely round box...


She used a door know to add the perfect finishing touch!


A member finished her Claudia Newton featherstitch sampler....

Two members worked together to finish this pintucked Wee Care gown...

She also made this leather scissors holder. I like it!


One of our member's neighbor, who is legally blind, made these beautiful items for Wee Care. Wow!!!


Our March program was an Italian Smocked egg...this is where you start...


(Here is a close-up of the Italian smocking.)


Then enclose a Styrofoam egg...


Seal off one end...


....and the other end...


....and make the ends pretty!

SEPTEMBER 2017 SHOW 'N SHARE

We had our pre-pleated fabric challenge competition....

Our winner was:


This pretty two piece skirt-set for dolls!

A member won a 2nd place ribbon at the Wisconsin State Fair for this elegant doll dress...

This autumn inspired table runner was made by a member using a simple method...


...it is two rectangles of different sizes sewn together with a closed end.
