A member shared about one of the favors handed out at the last "Smock Across America" Retreat at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.  So pretty!

OCTOBER SHOW 'N SHARE

One of our members entered this precious baptismal gown, which she created from a wedding dress.  It won a blue ribbon in the Wisconsin State Fair, and Best Smocked Entry (sponsored by the Milwaukee Chapter of the Smocking Arts Guild of America).

She also made this cute smocked elephant, which won an award in last year's Wisconsin State Fair.

Look at the intricate smocked detail.  Impressive!

A member smocked this sweet Wee Care gown for donation to St. Joseph's Hospital's neonatal department.  The smocking really stands out..so nicely done!

SEPTEMBER SHOW 'N SHARE

One of our members won the top sewing award in the state at the 2015 Wisconsin State Fair with this beautifully made, smocked blouse.

She also made this sweet smocked doll dress.

Such a nice fit.  It will definitely get lots of use!

The judges were so impressed with how everything was lined up.  Such a great job!

And one of our members has been working on quilting projects.  Love this!

Finally, one member brought her "Mystery of the Five Diamonds" sampler from the SAGA Smock Along.  The variegated thread makes it so eye catching!  I'm sure she will be sewing it into something fabulous!
